I have had a lot of both the past couple of weeks. Last week, the intrusive thoughts seemed to come thick and fast. Most of them were flashbacks to instances where I had been bullied only I imagine a different outcome, usually me inflicting physical harm upon the bully. However, the alternative scenario in my head does not make the problem go away. In fact, it tends to make me angrier and on account of my DAMP tendencies, I sometimes let that anger boil over to where I begin to act out what I’m thinking. A common tendency with DAMP. Fortunately, the intrusive thoughts have eased off substantially but I still have some anxiety issues.

This coming Saturday, I will be going to Cardiff for an event called Avenger’s S.T.A.T.I.O.N. It’s a Marvel related thing which my step daughter organized. I worry about finding the places we need to go, especially with my SATNAV being outdated. So, I’m a little anxious about that. Two weeks from then, I’m off to the USA for two weeks and while I’m looking forward to going, I have the normal worries about money, flights, car rental and travelling to and from the airport. Fortunately, the accommodation is all settled or so I hope.

On another note, if you have been reading my “Things That Prove My Insanity” posts, the series, “The Planets,” which I have been watching the the BBC, has given me more food for thought. My theory is that if the Sun keeps getting hotter and life on planets come and go throughout the solar system, then in around ten billion years, another human world will live and die on Saturn’s moon Triton. Just a thought. Wishing you all good health this week.
